I started this blog because I love my rats, learning more about them, staring at pictures of other people's rat cages and sharing what I know with others.
By day I am a science educator, by night I love making hammocks and toys and thinking up cool ways to entertain my boys.
Wizard was born 6/15/2014 so he's a very old man. He's a Blue Dumbo Berkshire "poor" Rex. (He's even softer than he looks)
Wizard enjoys thinking that he is in charge (even though Scout is in charge) and chewing new back doors in hammocks.
Loki was born February 2016, and he's my scared-y rat. He is a black blazed Berkshire who freezes whenever he hears an unexpected noise so I always get great pictures of him.
Loki enjoys playing under blankets and running up my pant legs when I sit on the floor with him.
Scout
Scout is a couple weeks younger than Loki. He's beige and a different type of 'poor' rex with more wiry poofy fur.
Scout enjoys wrestling, climbing, redecorating the cage with chewed up bits of paper and surprising me with how high he can jump.
